A production cel from the Don Bluth Studios animated film "The Secret of NIMH" (1982). Featuring a striking close-up of The Great Owl from the scene in which Mrs. Brisby and him speak in a dusty spider web-filled cavern, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.75"x12.5", the cel is in very good condition with some paint wear along the upper edge.
