This is a very rare production cel and background set-up from the Don Bluth Studios animated laser-disc video game, Dragon's Lair (1983). The cel image features a battle scene with Dirk fighting a giant spider and it is paired with the key matching hand-painted production background. This scene is stunning and the colors are beautifully vibrant. This is from a cut scene that was removed from the game before the prototype game cabinets were ever released! The piece is untrimmed with the cel and background each measuring roughly 13.5" x 16.5".
