X-Men "Come the Apocalypse" Rogue, Jean, & Profesor X Production Cel and Background (1993) - ID: jul24291

A multi-layered production cel and background setup from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Jean Grey, Professor X, and Rogue sitting at a restaurant table, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces are actual frames of animation that were photographed and appear in the season one episode "Come the Apocalypse," which aired on February 27, 1993. Measuring 10"x14" overall, with the character image area measuring 5.25"x10.25", the cel and background are in very good condition. The cel displays minor surface wear, light line fade, and paper stuck to the reverse from storage and production use. The background suffers minor edge and corner wear and very light staining. The character cels are matching to the background, but there is a layer missing with Professor X’s wheelchair.
